The 2020 Lincoln Navigator with Monochromatic Pearl Paint

The 2020 Navigator comes with more standard technology and added luxury features, including the company’s driver assist program called Lincoln Co-Pilot360°.

Without a major redesign for the 2020 Navigator, Lincoln turned its eye to giving its luxury drivers more convenience and technology.

This should come as no surprise. Automakers have made up-to-date technology and cabin convenience a priority. For luxury vehicle buyers that often means cutting edge gadgets and features.

The most impactful change will be the addition of Lincoln’s driver-assist technologies— collectively named Lincoln Co-Pilot360°.

The suite of technologies includes the following safety features:

  • Auto High-Beam Headlamps
  • Blind Spot Detection with Cross-Traffic Alert and trailer coverage
  • Lane-Keeping System with Driver Alert, Lane-Keeping Alert, Lane-Keeping Assist
  • Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Dynamic Brake Support
  • Forward Collision Warning
  • Pedestrian Detection
  • Rear view camera with washer

While driver-assist features have started to become more common, the Lincoln-exclusive Phone as A Key technology is something exclusive to Lincoln.

Phone as A Key will come standard. Activated through the Lincoln Way™ app, the technology allows owners to lock and unlock, open the liftgate and, most importantly, start and drive their Navigator – all without a traditional key fob.

Phone as a Key seems like a simple idea that should be ubiquitous among carmakers. This will save the frustration of replacing lost or faulty fobs.

Other standard features of note include power running boards, heated and ventilated front-row seats and a wireless charging pad for compatible mobile phones.
