Jeep's 2021 Grand Cherokee Grand L will be a full-size SUV featuring a third passenger row, cutting-edge driving technology and true off-road capability.
At first glance, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Grand L might remind its admirers of its older cousin the Jeep Grand Wagoneer— Jeeps other luxury SUV nameplate.
While the two vehicles share many technical similarities, the 2021 Grand L retains its core essence of being a true off-road and everyday driving vehicle with better-than-average capability.
For the first time, the Jeep Grand Cherokee gets a third passenger row, making the Jeep classic SUV what's being called a 'full-size' SUV. To the casual observer, the new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Grand L represents a logical step in the bigger is better American vehicle market.
But don't be fooled, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Grand L isn't just a size upgrade— Jeep engineers and designers made the luxury SUV more than a pretty face.
Customers will have a choice between the standard all-aluminum 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine— rated at 293 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, or the 5.7-liter V-8, rated at 357 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft.

Like most aspects of the Grand L, the power comes with smart technology. The V-8 engine comes uses cylinder shut-off technology that deactivates four cylinders during light acceleration or cruising situations on the highway.
The Grand L has three 4x4 systems – Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II with rear electronic limited slip-differential (eLSD). All three systems are equipped with an active transfer case to improve traction by moving torque to work with the wheel with the most grip.

Beyond the driving technology, Grand L's interior raises expectations to another level. No other vehicle contains as much actual wood and real metal in its interior design.
The center console features a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by UConnect 5. It also has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with available night vision and heads-up-display.
