INSTALLATION

Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove your existing radio by pulling back the dash bezel panel (held in with just retaining clips). Once the radio bezel trim is removed simply remove the 4 screws that secure the radio to the dash. Once installed make an appointment at your local Jeep dealer service department to have the PROXI Configuration Alignment performed.

THINGS TO KNOW

• A local Jeep dealer must use their diagnostic scan tool to add a few sales codes to the vehicle's configuration AND align the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU. They will follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu. How to Video
