Most 2015-2018 GM vehicles that came equipped with the wireless charging option K4C or 5ZI were built with stage 1 charging capabilities. This led to issues when the iPhone 8 and iPhoneX were released as they require a higher standard of battery charging. Infotainment.com has officially released a "retrofit" kit that will take a stage 1 system and update it to the latest & greatest stage 2 wireless smartphone charging technology.

Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. FEATURES
This kit contains a replacement wireless charging module and a jumper harness that makes the upgrade 100% plug and play. Some vehicles will require fitment modifications. These modifications are only to plastics that are NOT VISABLE and underneath the trim. The actual charging pocket / pad will not be changed.
